After a morning of abysmal autumn weather, I was so glad to see the rain give way to broken clouds and blue sky in the afternoon. So I headed up to Higger Tor before the ‘golden hour’ commenced to take advantage of the superb position of the sun at that time of the year.
I arrived on location and ventured straight over to Carl Wark. Once I was there I headed to one of my favourite compositions looking over Hathersage Moor back towards Higger Tor.
